Rain is also reported in Abbottabad, Havelian, Sialkot, Chiniot, Mandi Bahauddin and Shakargarh.
In Lahore, black clouds surrounded the city in the middle of the day, darkening the sky. People were excited about the pleasant weather, they said, which has broken the intense heat of two to three days in the city.
Even before the rains, the city was hit by a dust storm of 111 km per hour. Several power feeders tripped and caused the transformers to explode. Fallen trees are also reported.
The Meteorological Department has said that there will be another 24 hours of rain in Lahore.
Rain and pleasant weather in Rawalpindi and Islamabad turned happy people into parks.
In Faisalabad, the temperature dropped with the rains but the power went out. Several falling trees have been reported and the number of Fesco's 47 feeders has been reduced. Power outages have been reported in several areas.
It has not rained in Karachi yet but the Meteorological Department has forecast rain from Monday to Wednesday. However, the city administration is not as ready as before and started cleaning some of the city's drains just two days ago.
