The Pakistan Bar Council (PBC) has decided to file a review petition in the Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP) in the case of Justice Faiz Issa.
Abid Saqi, vice-chairman of the Pakistan Bar Council, said a review petition would be filed after a detailed court decision on the case.
Abid Saqi added that he did not expect a transparent inquiry from the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) due to government pressure on the agency.
In addition, the Supreme Court on Friday rejected the presidential reference against Justice Qazi Faiz Issa.
The summary judgment was announced by Justice Omar Ata Bandial, who presided over a full court bench of 10 judges hearing the case.
