Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced that Pakistan all-rounder Shoaib Malik will join the team in England.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief executive Mr. Wasim Khan said, "Mr. Shoaib Malik has not seen his flawed family for almost five months due to his promises and the subsequent international travel ban."
According to a press release issued by the board, Mr. Wasim Sis said, "Now that travel restrictions are slowly being eased and there is an opportunity for family reunification, it is appropriate that at the human level we empathize as part of our responsibilities. Express and respect Shoaib's request.
Mr. Wasim said he had taken the matter to the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), which understood the situation and had agreed to grant immunity to Shoaib on July 24 by helping him enter the country.
"Before allying with the Mr. Shoaib, we will follow the United Kingdom (UK) Government's policy & rules on visitor(s) to the country."
Shoaib's wife Sania Mirza and his son Izan Mirza Malik are in India while the all-rounder is staying in Sialkot as international travel has been suspended to curb the spread of the corona virus epidemic.
He was representing Peshawar Zalmi in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) before he was banned on March 17.
The team is scheduled to leave for Manchester on June 28. He will then travel to Derbyshire for his 14-day stoning period, where he will be trained and practiced.
Sania Mirza had posted two pictures on social media with a Delhi note for her husband.
