WhatsApp, a widely used messaging application, is now planning to add new color accents to the dark mode.
As Facebook's proprietary WhatsApp is working to create amazing new features for the convenience of its users, it now intends to add more colors to its dark theme.
This new feature will allow users to make the app look more attractive. In addition, the upcoming WhatsApp will support video and voice calls via the web.
Previously, WhatsApp Web used to send a notification every time a call came in called 'Check your phone to answer'. With this feature, no one will need to access their smartphone often.
"Today, thanks to an update to 2.2025.5, we find that WhatsApp is working on a different dark theme using alternative black colors," WAbetainfo reported.
According to the details, the new colors include gray, bright yellow and green. Users will be able to manage it in the WhatsApp settings under the theme option. It will be available for both Android and iOS versions of the app.
In addition, the messaging app is currently working on several other interesting features reported by WABetaInfo. In them, clear everything except search by date, storage usage, starred messages, shared chat, web search image and new chat color.
On June 19 (Friday), hundreds of users, including in Pakistan, complained about the difficulty in sending messages to the WhatsApp.
#WhatsApp was also trending on social networking site Twitter. Due to the glitch, people complained about someone's online status and not being able to see it for the last time.
WhatsApp hit Europe hardest, but parts of Asia and South America were also affected.
