The Sindh Education Department has directed private schools to cut school fees by 20% across the province during the holidays.

According to the details of the Sindh Government, Sindh Education Department took action and directed all private schools to give at least 20% concession in monthly fees for April and May.

A spokesperson of the Sindh Education Department says that all private schools are also responsible for timely payment of tuition and non-teaching staff.

He said that strict action will be taken against schools that will not pay salaries to employees on time or will go against the instructions of fee concession.

The spokesperson said that the parent directorate can complain to private institutions.

Directorate Private Institutes Sindh says that a complaint cell has been set up which includes Riaz Ahmed, Mohib Ali and Waqar.

Earlier, Punjab Chief Minister Osman Buzdar announced that his government had decided that it would cut school fees by 20% across the province during the ongoing holidays.


CM said in a tweet that schools have also been instructed to deposit fees on monthly basis. He said that schools have also been directed to pay salaries of all their staff and teachers on time, and have been barred from firing.
